How to make Lumpia




 Lumpia is a kind of traditional Chinese confectionary. The word spring roll comes from the Hokkien dialect which reads ‘Lun Pia‘ which means round cake. And in Khek or Hakka, Lumpia is called Pokpia. In English, Lumpia is known as spring roll.

Spring rolls are made from thin sheets of wheat flour which are made into leather and then used as a wrapper which usually consists of bamboo shoots, eggs, fresh vegetables, meat or seafood. In Indonesia, spring rolls are known as a typical food from the city of Semarang because of the uniqueness and procedures for making and ingredients that have been adapted to local traditions. Its contents in the form of coarse bamboo shoots are then cooked with peeled shrimp, pihi (a type of fish) and eggs. Served with thick sauce, raw chives and pickled pieces and cayenne pepper.


 RECIPES OF FRIED LUMPIA  (CHINESE) CUISINE

Material:
a. 12 sheets of spring rolls, ready to buy
b. 2 tablespoons of oil to saute
c. 300 grams of boiled bamboo shoots, sliced ​​matches
d. 300 grams of chicken meat and chicken skin, chopped
e. 150 ml of water

Puree:
a. 5 shallots
b. 4 cloves garlic
c. 1/2 tsp pepper grains
d. Salt to taste
e. 1 tbsp ebi, boil with hot water

Onion Sauce: (mix and boil)
a. 2 cloves of garlic
b. ½ teaspoon salt
c. ½ teaspoon of sugar
d. 75 ml of water

Sweet Sauce: (mix and add)
a. 75 ml of water
b. 2 tablespoons brown sugar, sliced
c. 2 tablespoons sweet soy sauce
d. 1 tbsp cornstarch, dissolve with a little water

How to Make Fried Spring Rolls (Chinese) Recipes:
1. Heat the oil, saute the spiced mashed spices. Enter bamboo shoots and chicken meat. Stir until it starts to mature. Pour water, cook until done, and water runs out
2. Divide the stir into 12 parts. Wrap each part with one sheet of spring roll skin. Glue with a little water. Fry until browned. Lift and drain
